Balama Prima’s D&G Asphalt Mixing Plant
Balama Prima D&G Asphalt Plant production base has over 150,000sqm factory space and is able to produce 70 Units of Asphalt plants annually. The asphalt plant capacity ranges from 100t/h to 400t/h.

1. Cold Aggregate Dosing System
- Bin volume and number is customizable (8, 10 or 18 m3 and maximum 10 bins)
- Separated structure design significantly reduces dimensions for shipping and ensures a high capacity.
- Seamless ring belt, high reliability and long life. Flat belt with stop plate is more convenient for maintenance and belt replacement.
- Frequency convertor controlled SIEMENS motor, infinite variable speed adjustment, more accurate and energy saving.
2. Drying System
- ABS burner imported with original packing, high burning efficiency, diesel, diesel/heavy oil dual purpose or gas as fuel is optional. (the burner is customized for our drying drum to achieve optimum performance)
- Specially designed drying drum, higher heat-exchange efficiency and lower caloric loss.
- The flight is made of Sweden HARDOX high wearable fire resistant steel.
- American HONEYWELL burner controller and igniting device.
- ABB or SIEMENS drum drive motor and BONFIGLIOLI gear box.
3. Dust Collecting System
- Two stage dust collecting system with high and low temperature protecting device.
- Filter bag is made of American NOMEX material.
- The electric motor driving the exhaust fan is controlled by means of a frequency convertor, which can significantly reduce current and energy consumption.
- Optional FERRARI exhaust fan with much higher efficiency and reliability.
4. Filler System
- The standard stacked filler silo design is more convenient for connection with main tower and requires less space for installation.
- Volume and number of filler silos is customizable.
- NORGREN pneumatic components and WAM screw conveyor.
5. Main Tower
- Both aggregate and filler elevators are equipped with a double ring chain bucket, which is more reliable and convenient for maintenance.
- Specially designed vibrating screen driven by maintenance free vibrating motor which is convenient for maintenance and changing mesh.
- Double stroke aggregate bin door control (controlled by two cylinders per door) with a high weighing accuracy. The weighing error is automatically compensated by control system.
- Two stage bitumen weighing system with automatic compensating function to ensure weighting accuracy while keeping the set production recipe.
- Two stage binder (bitumen) weighing system to ensure the right rate of bitumen and aggregate. Firstly weigh the set amount (usually a little more) of bitumen according to recipe and then spray into mixer the amount of bitumen according to the actual quantity of aggregate weighed.
- Binder (bitumen) is sprayed into mixer through a special designed spray bar with high pressure to reduce feeding time and increase mixing uniformity.
- The screw conveyor transporting filler to the weighing hopper is frequency controlled to guarantee high precision.
- Each scale is equipped with 3 pull type load cells, the most stable and reliable weighing solution.
- Specially designed twin shaft compulsory asphalt concrete mixer (the mixing arm is cross arranged with changeable gridded mixing blade), high mixing efficiency and long life. Mechanical synchronized ROSSI mixer gear box with simple structure and low possibility of failure.
6. Hot Mix Storage Bin
- Optional configuration of hot mix storage bin: beside (b) or under (c) the main tower.
- Elevated tower design allows direct discharge under main tower without storage bin (a).
- Bin capacity and quantity is customizable.
- Frequency convertor controlled winch with compact design and low driving power.
7. Control System
- Self-produced "Flying" computerized plant control and production management system.
- Parallel redundant plant control system (the whole plant can be fully automated by industrial computer and touch screen control device).
- Fully graphic Multilanguage control interface is easy and convenient for different operators.
- SIEMENS /VIPA PLC and other world famous brand electronic control components such as the frequency convertor (SIEMENS or PANASONIC).

- Volume and number of bitumen tanks is customizable according to user requirement.
9. Others
Optional steel base for quick installation and transportation convenience.- All components are sandblast treated before painting to clean away rust and ensure the painting quality.
- Other optional components such as the fiber feeding device and generator set are also available according to customer requirement.
